Meet Naudia Jones, RD CDN

Hello!

I’m Naudia, a NYC-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition at the CUNY Brooklyn College and completed a year long clinical nutrition internship at The New York Presbyterian Hospital. I received my dietitian licensure through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the New York State.

During my internship, I trained along aside renowned medical and nutrition professions at the Columbia University Irving, Weill Cornell Medical Center and Morgan Stanley Children Hospital, while providing medical nutrition therapy to adult and pediatric patients from diverse medical, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I was trained in diabetes care, oncology, renal, eating disorder, digestive disorders, chronic disease prevention, outpatient nutrition counseling etc.

As a former nutritionist for the NYC Department of Mental Health and Hygiene and other nonprofit wellness organizations, I spent years teaching nutrition education in public schools and community organizations in underserved populations.

Throughout this time, I learned that that path to health and wellness is not a one size fit all approach. What is considered “healthy” for me, can be very harmful to you and vice versa. For nutrition advice to be safe and sustainable, it needs to be personalized, tailored to you, your medical profile, your cultural background, health beliefs, financial background etc.

I’m very passionate about equitable nutrition and wellness. I believe that nutrition and wellness should available and attainable to all. I practice a client-centered approach. I want to know and honor what food means to you and how it connects to your cultural and religious background. I want to inspired and empower you to unapologetically be you while meeting your health goals.

I love forward to working with you.
